MYDESC for Wheelchairs

The MYDESC Basic Direct Mount

This model is the most simple basic version of MYDESC design. This system is ideal for those who plan to remove the work surface often, because it is very easy to take on and off. It will require our mounting bracket 247-DM100 ($79.95 additional). This will attach to vertical or horizontal frame member (round or square tubing) from .75" to 1.25" dia.

The MYDESC 90° Direct Mount

This is a popular MYDESC model for wheelchairs and other furniture with tube frame. It consists of the MYDESC work surface (12” x 17”), a 90 degree elbow. It will require our standard 247-DMB90 mounting bracket ($79.95 additional) that will attach to vertical or horizontal frame, round or square tube from .75” to 1.25” dia. The 90 degree elbow allows for distance adjustments and gives the user the most flexibility for positioning the worksurface. And of course, all of our model has the built-in height adjustment capability. The MYDESC FlipTop Storage Desk

The MYDESC FlipTop Storage Desk is well suited to artist and students who need a place to put their supplies. It has a larger tilting work surface (22” x 15”) and the surface lifts to reveal a storage compartment: 17"w x 11"h x 1.68"d. Because both sides of work surface are supported by a ball-joint, the surface can be tilted, shifted from right to left, and one side swings away for transfers. Our standard Air Spring Lifter helps to ease lifting and lowering of the flip-top. Complete the system with mounting brackets (2) 247-DMB90 (@ $159.90/pair/system- additional). The MYDESC FlipTop Double Storage Desk

FlipTop Double Storage system was designed for those individual who likes to have their laptop computer stored inside the compartment and still have the option of the work surface. Compartment specification : 17”w x 11”h x 3.37”d total height. Actual depth is 1.68” with unique opening lid that gives you the double storage capacity as illustrated at left view. Rest of the description is identical to standard FlipTop Storage #250-3100 series.

The MYDESC Dual Support Workstation

This Workstation is similar to FlipTop Storage Desk except without storage compartment, for those who like the larger work surface but don’t require storage. This model is often used for general upper body support and positioning. All the mounting configuration is identical with 250-3100 series. Including the versatile angular adjustable mounting brackets.

The MYDESC Scooter Model is designed especially for active scooter users.  The smaller work surface ( 9” x 12” ) provides a convenient surface for laptop computer or note book.  This model mounts to the bottom of the scooter seat.

This unique mounting system has the same high quality ball-joint design and the required standard rigid mounting bracket #247-DMB90 @additional $79.95 that will attach to vertical or horizontal frame, round or square tube from .75” to 1.25” dia. You can set the positive stop collar so the device will return to the same position after swinging away. A quick release mount also allows you to remove the entire communication device. You can even interchange it with an optional work surface. Model I is designed for Dynavox and other systems. Model II is designed for Prentke Romich System. The table mount stand provides you with infinite adjustment with unique mounting system as all the MYDESC models, and includes quick disconnect. This will allow to interchange your system with our communication mount system above. (Model 9000 series)

MYDESC for Beds and Sofas

The MYDESC Square Base Model

The MYDESC with the tubular square base is an extremely versatile model that can be used on the sofa, bed, or floor. It’s great for reading, writing, or using a laptop computer. No drilling or special mounts are required, the square base simply slides under sofa cushion or bed mattress. A special support brace is also included to adapt this model to the floor. (No tools are required for assembly)
